Welcome to the website of Food and the Circular Economy - South West

Food and the Circular Economy - South West is a major new two-year research project exploring the opportunities available to, and challenges faced by, small and medium-sized enterprises in the food and beverages manufacturing industry as they transition towards the circular economy. Kicking off in November 2016, an interdisciplinary team of researchers, led by the University of Exeter Business School and funded by the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council, will work closely with a select group of dairy and bakery processors across South West England.
